Now this is more for English but I think it will help in french as well as in other languages when needing us to proofread
1. Proofread your own work FIRST. You might want to read it outloud to someone else. As you do, you'll spot awkward areas that need additional attention. In the process, you'll learn to be a better writer. Please don't post your work here before you've done that.
2. Prior to posting an essay for proofreading please put it through a Word Processor for Spell Checking and Grammar Checking. Clean up the errors you find.
3. Please post large works in smaller parts. Our volunteers have limited time and may not be able to attempt a large work where they will have time for several smaller pieces.
4. We do our best, always. Understand, as teachers, what we do to help you is what we think best meets your needs. That may not always match what you want.
5. Our volunteers give freely of their time to help you and other students like you. Our only "pay" is the occasional "thank you" we get from a grateful student. You might want to consider thanking us.
5. Treat our team with respect and we'll treat you respectfully.
Last but not least
6. We deal swiftly with posts we consider to be rude or disrespectful. You may lose your privileges to use our service with just ONE offensive post. Don't take a chance. Don't waste your time.
Thanks for choosing PATH and feel free to offer any suggestions on how we might better serve you.
